Women's Ministry

Women's Ministry at Grace seeks to be a place where women can connect to one another on a more intimate level than is possible on Sunday mornings. We do this through regular Bible studies and occasional social gatherings.  Our offerings will look a bit different for the time being, but we are still seeking to provide community for the women of Grace. Here are a few ways you for you to connect with other women in our church:

Fall Book Exchange: On Sunday, Sept. 27, stop by the education building before or after church to participate in our fall book exchange. More details about this event will be available via email, but here is the gist: In the coming weeks bring one or two books to fill our book exchange, then come and choose a few new (to you!) books for yourself on the 27th! Bring fiction, cookbooks, classics, devotional, nonfiction... just something you have read and enjoyed in the past, that someone else may enjoy reading!

Women For Women is a confidential support group that encourages participants to explore the story God is writing with their lives. Each week we review a book chapter and share our burdens and joys. We seek Christ in our struggles, trusting that He will restore us with His strong and steadfast love. This semester we are reading The Cry of the Soul. It looks to the Psalms, which brings to light how even our most troubling emotions can be cries of our soul that lead to restoration. We begin on Wednesday, Sept 23, on Zoom from 7-9:00 p.m. Our first meeting is an orientation to help new participants decide if this group is for you. You may RSVP by emailing Joy Zeigler at WFW@gracewoodlands.org. This group will be limited to 8 participants.
