The women and men elected to be deacons at Grace Church serve the church behind the scenes, confidentially helping our people in crisis periods of their lives. Deacons serve the social, emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual needs of the congregation. They provide financial assistance for rent, food, counseling and medical assistance, utilities, and other expenses. Much of their time is spent in prayer with and for their clients, building relationships with them, encouraging and counseling them with budget and basic life skills. People request the deacons for spiritual and practical help.
